I have a passion for teaching children and observing them progress both academically and socially. My career started in Gloucestershire where I firstly taught at Castle Hill Primary School before moving to Bishops Cleeve Primary School, Cheltenham where I also had the role of Assistant Headteacher. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to lead and teach in the Early Years, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two.
I feel lucky to work at Elburton Primary School. The dedicated and hard working staff, governing body and PTA have created a wonderful community in which our children can thrive and achieve. Working alongside parents, It is a pleasure to see the children grow in confidence, maturity and independence on a daily basis.
Away from school I am kept busy by my son Theodore and my wife Catherine. Weekends are often spent together going on day trips and enjoying time as a family which we all greatly enjoy. Where possible I enjoy running and will often start my weekend by completing a local Park Run.
