I am a University academic and practitioner with over a decade of experience in people management and organisational development. I hold a PhD focused on performance management in organisations and the pivotal role of line managers in effective people management. During my time in academia, I have worked as a Lecturer and Programme Leader in Human Resource Management, designing and delivering programmes that develop future HR professionals and support leaders to enhance people practice. Before moving into university teaching, I held a range of management roles within higher education and the public sector, gaining extensive experience across performance management, employee relations, leadership support and organisational change. As an appointed Governor, and as a parent of two children at the school, I am strongly committed to helping create an environment where every child can achieve their best. |
