Home Learning
 
Children will be expected to read at home at least five times a week and to log on to NumBots to practice Maths fluency. They can also practise their spellings using Spelling Shed. Children have been given their login details for both websites. Please see links below which will take you directly to the sites.

PE days
 
The PE/Games timetable for Cherry and Chestnut classes:
Tuesday - outdoor games
Thursday - indoor P.E.
 
 
PE Kit
 Please can you ensure that your child comes to school with a named PE kit on the above days. This includes the following:
 
* A white t-shirt
* Navy blue shorts
* Socks
* Navy blue tracksuit
* Sports trainers that provide full support (no fashion brands please)  
 

A simple named bag with a draw string is a convenient way of carrying and storing PE clothing.

For safety reasons earrings must be removed or taped over during PE. Hair must be tied up for PE.

This is a website full of math games that encourage logical thinking and reasoning. It is the perfect site to help your child develop their mathematical knowledge in a fun and interactive way.

Spelling Shed

This website enables your child to learn their spellings through a fun and interactive way. Their weekly spelling lists will be uploaded to the site each week.

NumBots

Your child has their own login to this game. The more they play and learn, the more points they will earn to build and improve their robot avatar.

Letterjoin

You will need your log in for the website. This is a web site to help your child improve their joined handwriting and help them to master their letter formation. 

Oxford Owl

This is a free website that gives you access to free eBooks that you can share with your child at home.  

Pobble 365

This website gives you a different picture each day and provides you with some question prompts and ideas to help inspire and motivate children to write. 

 Explorify

 This website is free to use and has lots of different science activities that you can work through.
